Terms of Service
The agreement between you and the operator of RozanaBill. It covers your account, the documents you create in it, what we do with them, and what happens if something goes wrong.

Before this page goes live
Replace the placeholders below with the operator’s real details, and have the text reviewed by a lawyer. Nothing below is legal advice.
- The registered legal name of the operator, its postal address and its GSTIN, in clause 1.
- Which courts and jurisdiction govern, in clause 13 — currently left as a placeholder.
- The support email and phone number, if they are not the ones already on the contact page.
- Whether a lawyer has reviewed this text. It has not.
1.Who we are
RozanaBill (“the service”) is operated by [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME], a business registered in India, with its registered office at [REGISTERED ADDRESS] and GSTIN [GSTIN]. We refer to that business as “we”; you are “you” or the “customer”.
These terms apply to every person who uses the service. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
2.The service
RozanaBill is billing and inventory software for Indian businesses. It produces GST invoices, quotations, purchase documents, delivery challans, credit and debit notes, payment records and statutory reports, and keeps a record of your stock.
We may add, change or withdraw features. Where a change removes a function you are paying for, we will give you notice and a refund of the unused period under clause 8.
3.Your account
- You must give accurate registration details, including your GSTIN if you have one. Your invoices are statutory documents; a wrong GSTIN on them is your problem, not ours.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done under your login. Tell us at once if you believe it has been used without your permission.
- One login may hold up to four businesses. Each business keeps its own invoices, customers, stock and settings, and shares nothing with the others.
- You may add employees to a business and give each one a username, a password and a role. You decide what each role is allowed to do, and you are responsible for what your employees do with their access.
- You must be old enough to enter a contract in India, and old enough to be liable for GST registration.
4.Your documents and your data
Everything you create in the service — invoices, customer records, product details, documents you upload, your business logo — remains yours. We claim no ownership of your invoices, your customers or your stock records.
You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service for you: to store your documents, to transmit them back to you and to the people you send them to, to back them up, and to display them to you. That permission ends when you delete your business or close your account, subject to clause 11.
You keep every right you have in your data under Indian law. Nothing in these terms takes that away from you.
5.What we do not do with your data
We do not sell your data. We do not use the contents of your invoices to train artificial intelligence, to advertise to you or to advertise to anyone else. We do not open your documents to read them. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking networks.
The service talks to no third party except the service providers in clause 12, and except the recipients you yourself choose when you send a document by WhatsApp, SMS or email — those go directly from your device to the provider you picked.
Our Privacy Policy describes this in detail.
6.Acceptable use
You must not use the service to:
- break any law, or infringe anyone’s rights;
- produce fraudulent documents, or documents you know to be false;
- impersonate anyone, or misrepresent who a document’s issuer or recipient is;
- upload anything unlawful, or attempt to gain access to another person’s account or data;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the service without our written permission;
- resell, sublicense or provide the service to anyone else as your own product.
We may suspend an account that breaches this clause. We will tell you why, and will restore it once the breach is put right.
7.Your statutory obligations
RozanaBill prepares documents and calculations. It does not file anything with the tax department on your behalf, and it cannot know your circumstances. You remain responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, for filing your returns on time, and for paying tax that is due.
Features that would reach an external government system — e-invoicing IRN generation, e-way bill creation — are not connected to those systems. Where such a feature is shown, it says so plainly rather than pretending to have succeeded. Never rely on the service as your only record of a tax obligation.
8.Payment
The service is free. The pricing page says so, and there is no paid tier to move on to.
We write this clause because a future change should not be a surprise. If we ever charge for the service or for any part of it, we will say so on the pricing page and give you notice before the change takes effect. Any amount charged then will be in rupees and will exclude GST, which will be added at the prevailing rate, and payment will be due in advance for the period it covers.
We do not sell your data, and we do not take a payment for it. See the Privacy Policy.
9.Refunds
Because the service is free, there is normally nothing to refund. If you have nevertheless paid us for something, our Refund Policy applies, and it is part of these terms.
10.Availability and support
We aim to keep the service available at all times, but we do not guarantee it. We may take it down for maintenance, and we will try to give notice.
Support is provided during the hours published on the contact page. The service is sold as it is: we do not provide a guaranteed response time, and no support commitment is a commitment to correct a document for you.
11.Ending the agreement
- You may stop using the service at any time, and may delete a business from the business menu at any time. Deleting a business deletes its documents permanently, along with the logins that existed only for it.
- We may suspend or close an account for breach of clause 6, for non-payment of any amount that does fall due, or where we are required to by law. Where we can, we will give you notice and a chance to put it right first.
- When the agreement ends, your data stays yours. Ask us for an export and we will send it to you. After the export, or 30 days after closure, we delete your data, except where we must keep some of it — a record of an invoice we supplied under a valid tax invoice, for example.
12.Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Where you have paid nothing, that cap is the greater of nothing and nothing — which is why it is worth saying plainly that this is a free service and we would rather earn the business than rely on a cap. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, revenue or anticipated savings, or for the loss of data caused by a failure of a system we do not control.
Our service providers — the host that stores your data — are responsible for their own acts under their own terms, and we are not liable for theirs beyond what the law requires.
13.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at [JURISDICTION] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
Before litigating, please write to us. Most disputes are a misunderstanding about how a feature behaves, and we would rather fix the misunderstanding.
14.Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms. The date at the top of this page says when they last changed. If a change materially affects you we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
